banging the drum

If he bangs on those drums just one more time
he’ll rue the day he was born
I’ve had his shenanigans up to here
he’s been banging since early morn

I know he plays in a rock group
but does he have to practice at home
doesn’t he have a studio somewhere
I’m trying to write a poem

He’s interfering with my train of thought
I’ve forgotten the idea I had
it was going to be a masterpiece
now he’s made me really mad

I feel like taking all his drums
and smashing them to bits
but he’s probably got a spare set
God he’s getting on my tits
